ABOUT.
ACME Open Studios (Art & Craft Market & exhibition) will be at St Margaret's Church of Art, St Benedict's St, Norwich again this year. This will be the 4th ACME exhibition and the 2nd Open Studios event.
The original event in June 2016 was created and run by Tricia Frances, herself an artist, and included the work of 23 artists, exhibiting for 1 week during open studios but not involved with it. There were 310 visitors.
Tricia ran the exhibition again in October 2016 this time with 17 artists taking part and 410 visitors.
Several thousand viewers were reached on Facebook and as an incentive a free space was allocated to the winner of the most reaches. Artist Chris Fry won on the June exhibition and Russian sculpturess Tanya Godard won in October.

Tricia decided to move the date in June 2017 so it could be part of Open Studios so as to provide more publicity and bring in more visitors. It was during this period that the name ACME came into being as an abbreviated form of the original name.
The previous Facebook winners, Chris & Tanya collaborated on a stunning display and Chris also collaborated with Tricia to create a UV gallery which was ongoing during the exhibition.
The exhibition was a great success. 34 artists were involved over 1200 visitors enjoyed the varied arts and crafts during the 2 weeks of this event with 80,000 reaches on facebook. Steve & Julia from Jewels Designs were the Facebook winners this time.

ACME 2018 - 28th May - 9th June
Tricia has planned a very exciting event this year, again during Open Studios but with the addition of 3 Markets: Art & Craft, Steampunk and Miniatures.

ABOUT.
There are a number of groups in East Anglia, but nothing in Norwich City. So on 8th June 2018 we will hold our first meeting during the Miniatures Market weekend as part of ACME Open Studios at St Margaretes Church of Art, St Benedicts St, Norwich, NR2 4AQ.

From September there will be a monthly meet where we can show and sell, swap and demo our miniature creations. The cost will be £5 per evening meeting and will include a giveaway.
The venue has free parking and is on a bus route. They serve delicious food and drink, so come early and get your dinner! (Not included in your entrance fee!)
